Hello, my name is Isa Zamalloa and I am currently teaching Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Humanities at San Gabriel Mission Elementary School. I am the homeroom teacher for Second Grade. I am currently in my second year of teaching K-2nd grade Humanities (Social Studies and Religion). I am also currently in an induction program to clear my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I was awarded the Golden Apple Award at California State University, Los Angeles for being an outstanding student teacher. I have 18 years of experience working with children of various ages from toddlers up to high school age. For over 10 years, I worked at Arcadia Unified School District as a substitute teacher; which also included long term substitute teaching. For three years, I also worked as a substitute teacher and long term substitute teacher in Temple City Unified School District. I have experience teaching various grade levels and multiple subjects.
